FAQS

  • Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, chin, back, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas.

    PRECISION

Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged.

    SPEED

Each pulse of the laser takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs at the same time. The laser can treat an area approximately the size of a quarter every second. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour.

  • Laser hair removal eliminates at least 80% of hair growth. Instead of only removing the hair – as with shaving or waxing – the laser heats up the hair follicles, rendering them inactive and unable to grow hair.

  • In general, laser hair removal hurts much less than waxing. Laser hair removal is often compared to being snapped by a rubber band. The discomfort from laser hair removal also depends on your personal pain tolerance, the area of the body being treated, and the laser equipment being used

  • Most areas require four to six treatments. Ideally, they should be four weeks apart. However, depending upon your skin tone, hair color and density, this may vary. Your technician will be able to provide you with a more precise estimate during your consultation.
